Black Beans Onions and Garlic

I don’t particularly like to cook but I do like making simple meals, something that can last for a few days. I don’t mind eating the same food for a few days.

You can either buy canned black beans or you can cook your beans. I used fresh beans. I soaked the beans overnight and boiled for about 1 1/2 hours. I drained and put aside. I cut one large onion and about 6 cloves of garlic. I love garlic, you don’t need to use that much. I stir fried the garlic and onion until the onion was clear. I added salt, pepper, turmeric and a little cinnamon.

Add all the ingredients together with a little water and allow the seasonings to blend into the food.

It tastes good either hot or cold.

RECIPE:

2 cans of black beans or 1 1/2 cups dry beans cooked

1 Large Onion

4-6 cloves of garlic

Dash of Salt, Pepper, Turmeric and Cinnamon.

1/4 to 1/2 cup of water

Cook and enjoy
